Soldiers, prepared to deploy to Auraxis on January 20th. Today, Sony announced that the critically-acclaimed, free to play MMORPGFPS PlanetSide 2 will enter Closed Beta for the Playstation 4 in North America this month. The Closed Beta will initially start off with a few thousand invites and will steadily increase throughout the beta. Players will be invited to be in the Beta in chronological order of when they sign up. Players can opt in by email by visiting here.

The console platform for PlanetSide 2 will showcase an array of beauty, depth, and open-world combat found in game like never before. PlanetSide 2 will be the only PS4 game that allows massive communities of players to come together to experience enormous battles, giving players a massive world combat experience. The full launch is slated for later this year.
