Creator of the Metal Gear Solid series, Hideo Kojima will be revealing the new Metal Gear Online this week at The Game Awards.

“Next Friday night I’m honored @HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN will join us at @thegameawards to world premiere Metal Gear Online,” Keighley wrote.

Metal Gear Online had its first debut as a part of Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence on Playstation 2. Later it was followed up by a second release along side Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. There will be several game modes including Deathmatch, Team Sneaking, Capture Mission, Rescue Mission, and more. Up to 16 players will be allowed to play at one time. Kojima previously confirmed that a new version of Metal Gear Online will be bundle with the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

The Game Awards will be held in Las Vegas on Friday, December 5th.
