Today, Ubisoft has announced that Escape from Durgesh Prison, the newest DLC for Far Cry 4, will be released on January 13th, 2015 on Xbox Live and Windows PC and on January 14th, 2015 on Playstation Network. In this challenging time trial players will race against the clock and other players to reach the top of the leader boards.

In Escape from Durgesh Prison, Ajay and Hurk are help captive in Yuma’s prison. Thrown in the dangerous world of Kyrat without anything to defend themselves, players will complete a series of challenges to locate weapons, unlock new skills, all while trying to reach the extraction point. You’ll be able to play via singleplayer or co-op, this difficult mode will keep players running across Kyrat to complete side objectives that are dictated by Pagan Min to recover their lost eapons and upgrade their gear before a final stand-off with Yuma’s forces. To increase the difficulty of the challenge, when players die, they have to restart the mission over and use the knowledge and skills they gained during the previous run through to help them reach their destination successfully.

Escape from Durgesh Prison is available as part of the Far Cry 4 Season Pass.
