Today, Techland has introduced the opening cinematic for the studios highly anticipated open world action survival game – Dying Light. The intro gives you a dramatic glimpse of the storyline. It paints a mysterious outbreak in a desolate city know as Harran. The game sets the stage for a political tug-of-war between Harran’s Ministry of Defense and the Global Relief Effort.

When you enter the quarantine zone, you will assume the role of an undercover operative by the name of Kyle Crane. He is sent on a mission that seems both necessary and morally clear, but in reality it turns to be just a move in a game of chess for the highest stake.

Dying Light is set to release on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC on January 27th, 2015 in the U.S.
