343 Industries announced that Halo: The Master Chief Collection has another update coming to players and it will arrive sometime this week. According to the Halo Waypoint Forums, a new update aims to improve upon “matchmaking and system flow.”

“The team continues development and testing of upcoming content updates, the next of which will specifically make improvements to the matchmaking system and flow,” the developer wrote on Halo Waypoint. “This particular update is on track for delivery this week. We will provide more details on the exact ETA, included fixes, and additional upcoming content updates in the near future.”

It’s safe to say Halo: The Master Chief Collection has had a rough launch. Following the online component buckling at launch, many players are still yet to get into matchmaking games. 343 Industries has been getting heat from early adopters, especially after it talked about it’s rebate program that you can read more about here.

Keep an eye out for an update if all goes according to plan. Hopefully this situation will be resolved sooner rather than later, but only time will tell.
