Today Natsume, makers of the Harvest Moon franchise, announced a new installment coming to the Nintendo 3DS this fall. The game will mark the 15th anniversary of the series.

The game is called Harvest Moon: A New Beginning. Like all of the games it is a farming simulator. It is offering all kinds of new features, like full character customization where you can fully customize your character’s sex, skin color, face, body, clothes, etc. You can also customize the appearance of your farm, such as where buildings are. All of the villagers have left the town and it is your job to make it look nice again to bring them back!

You can customize what the town looks like building benches, parks and so on. There are new types of crop and animals such as llamas and yaks. You can customize all of your house’s furniture, too!

Pre-ordering this game will get you a special plush yak! If you buy the Anniversary Edition you get a plushie yak and a 12″ plush Harvest Moon cow, whom we have all come to love!

The game looks great, with a great cartoony art style that fans of the game know and love.  The game is slated to come to the Nintendo 3DS, on November 6th this year!
