With a feature web-series already slated for this fall (Forward until Dawn), 343 Industries is giving fans another look inside the making of Halo 4 and its expanded universe with a new quality behind-the-scenes peek.
The short video features a look inside 343 Industries headquarters, the developers hard at work, motion-capture videos, gameplay, voice work, sound and audio testing in the field, as well as environment samples and other goodies. Overall, the video is nicely put together, demonstrating both Microsoft and 343 Industries commitment to re-launching the Halo franchise in a big way.
While many gamers thought we finished the fight, that doesn’t mean the war is over. And, love it or hate it (I love it), the countdown for Halo 4 has been slowly ticking away since the public was showed the first gameplay footage during this year’s E3 Microsoft press conference.
While the Halo franchise might have lost some of its luster since the release of superior FPS’ titles such as the Modern Warfare and Battlefield series, it hasn’t stopped either Microsoft or 343 Industries from pushing forward with the ten-year-old media, which has already included two sequels, two spin-offs, several novels, comics, toys, an anime, and several live-action shorts.
Halo 4 is set for deployment November 6, 2012
